Scar care does not stop after the first intensive phase. Once the skin has fully healed, consistent daily care helps keep the scarred area nourished, hydrated and supple as the skin continues to develop over time.

NAQI® Skin Optimizing Oil is a nourishing oil developed for the ongoing care of recent and older scars. It is the recommended second step after using NAQI® Repair and can be continued for as long as your skin requires regular care.

The formula is rich in essential omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids and antioxidants. It combines organic rosehip oil, camelina seed oil, plant oils and squalane to nourish the skin and support its natural barrier.

Regular massage helps keep the skin soft and supple while supporting its elasticity and moisture level. The oil also helps improve the visible appearance and colour of scars and reduces dry, flaky skin around the affected area.

NAQI® Skin Optimizing Oil is suitable for scars following fully healed abrasions, surgery or other skin damage. It can also be used for acne scars and stretch marks.

The smooth oil texture is easy to massage into targeted areas and requires only a small amount. This makes it practical for consistent, long term use as part of a structured skin care routine.

Begin with NAQI® Repair during the first intensive phase. Continue with NAQI® Skin Optimizing Oil to give the skin the daily nourishment and attention it needs over time.

How to use

  • Only apply once the wound or abrasion has fully closed.
  • Make sure the skin is clean and dry.
  • Apply a small amount directly to the scar or area requiring care twice a day.
  • Massage gently until the oil has been fully absorbed.
  • Continue using the product for as long as regular scar care is required.
  • For recent scars, first use NAQI® Repair for a maximum of two weeks. Afterwards, continue the routine with NAQI® Skin Optimizing Oil.

  • Do not apply to fresh abrasions, open wounds, bleeding skin or areas that are still weeping.
  • Do not use on infected or strongly irritated skin.

  • Stop using the product if skin irritation occurs.
  • Consult a healthcare professional if a scar becomes increasingly painful, red, swollen or warm, or if its appearance changes unexpectedly.
